Beyond the Blue” special exhibition outside Governor Gavin Newsom’s office in the California State Capitol. “Beyond the Blue: Prison Arts Collective” is a traveling exhibition organized by Prison Arts Collective with an exhibition book edited by Annie Buckley. This exhibition is dedicated to sharing the voices of people experiencing incarceration. The exhibition traveled to venues in the regions of correctional institutions where the artists are housed to be more accessible to their families and friends.
